i am sure by now you have heard another ballroom. another ballroom a shop of sorts based in the copenhagen apartment of its founder karen maj. honestly, i can’t believe i have yet to feature karen’s apartment/shop until now. as of late karen revamped her space with new shoppable items…another ballroom the second time around.
honestly, i am having the hardest time choosing which another ballroom i like best…to see the previous design click here.
i admit it, if i could fill my home with high end furniture i would. unfortunately, at the moment, i am short about a million dollars. a gal like myself, in the line of work i am in, loves to shop for furniture and typically goes straight to the out-of-reach price wise. this has been a bit of a problem as of late, due to my need/want for a new 3 seater sofa that is both on the edge of minimalist, yet incredibly comfortable.
luckily, i happened upon my latest favorite capsule. capsule specializes in modern furniture design and to my pleasant surprise, an expert in modern sofa design. the true beauty lies in the fact that capsule not only carries so many stunning pieces of design furniture, but also makes these designs completely accessible to their customers. you see capsule believes that “good design should be available to everyone.” i also love the fact that capsule is a los angeles based design studio. capsule also believes it is important to foster creativity by supporting up and coming design talent by giving them access to product development expertise and resources.
the result is truly beautiful…
i do love all capsule items, however, i have a few favorites amongst my latest favorite…
i am thrilled to announce my collaboration with capsule! part of this collaboration involves bringing amazing design to all of you through our collaborative boards on pinterest. i would love for you to take a peek and follow along: capsule x mrs. french
so much more to come in relation to this collab…i can’t wait to share with you the sofa i decided to call my own.
a few weeks back on the oregon coast we spent big chunk of our time collecting shells, stones and other bits of nature…this is actually, one of my very favorite things to do with my children; growing collections of all types of natural bits and pieces.
which is why i was so happy to find still. still is a blog that consists of stunning photographs taken by mary jo hoffman of items she collects daily.
i am pretty sure i rarely find and collect things this good.
