Isobel Schofield and Her Bryr

i have been at my bliss for quite sometime. all of this blogging business has led me to some of my very favorite makers/designers. one of which is isobel schofield of bryr clogs. i do think i may wear her clogs more than any other. each pair is incredibly beautiful and lovingly handmade by isobel and her small team out of her san francisco studio. the quality is as perfect as each clog is beautiful. i am hooked and am darn proud to stand behind such a magical woman and her bryr.

Apiece Apart Woman: Malia Bianchi-Mau

as you know, on bliss i am typically going on and on about beautiful clothing design or home design. i love, that in this case, i get to rave a bit about both thanks to apiece apart woman.

apiece apart has to be one of my top 5 when it comes to clothing…regularly apiece apart profiles a woman they admire wearing items from their current line. part of these profiles also involves capturing these women in their natural surroundings. which, of course, are equally inspiring. a blogger such as myself can barely resist.

the latest apiece apart woman is malia bianchi-mau, a jewelry designer residing in topanga…yes to it all.

My Happy Place: Anywhere Warmer Than Oregon…and This Porto Home.

it’s official…the weather this spring is officially bumming me out. which is why today’s happy place had to involve traveling to warmer, sunnier places. this home in porto will do quite nicely…

i also love a home that appears to be one thing from one angle and a completely different thing when you pass through the front door, or from another outdoor angle. of course, sunny cement tiles and acapulco chairs can’t hurt.
